Its been 2 days since I've been anywhere. My couch now has my figure molded in it.
Due to one of my post regarding mainly on Timothy Tiah/Nuffnang, I've also mentioned a tad bit on how Advertlets has been paying me less than peanuts. Exactly 11 hours later, I received a mail from the founder of Advertlets, Josh Lim.
Of course i was shocked by his mail and how efficient Advertlets Support is. I mean, exactly 11 hours and i get full attention from Josh Lim himself? Heck, my own sister refuse to listen to my rants at times. 10 cool points up for them!
Obviously I replied his mail since he said " he hope to hear from me soon ". It would be considered very rude to not do so. And the screen shot above is my reply. Fair enough right? I put up your poll, you give me my proper earnings.
My sister too, was very happy that Advertlets fixed her earnings. However, in marketing there's always a con job somewhere right? If you look properly, for every 184 unique visitors, she earns an amount of RM3.125. For every 212 unique visitors, she earns an amount of RM0.013. Which in my opinion, you cant afford to buy one peanut.So me being the smart ass like always, I suggested to my sister that she should announce to her readers that only 180 of them and nothing more than 200 are allowed to go to her blog daily to get full earnings. Which she replied " Go die la you ". Sisterly love.
Thats not the worst part. Its been 6 days since I've replied his mail and I've yet to receive his reply. I'll do the math for you.
6 days = 144 hours.
Time taken for Josh Lim to stand up for Advertlets and his ego = 11 hours.
The way I feel from this whole shit = Priceless.
For everything else, there's Mastercard.
So you know what? Here's your RM13.05. Take it back. I dont want it and i dont think you're going to give me to me very easily too."Hope you're still keen to give us a shot"

Unfortunately, this is my first time seeing that mail in the screenshot. Didnt receive the mail? Pretty sure we would have noticed one like that esp a detailed one. After all, it wouldnt make sense to take the effort and then neglect to follow up right? Anyway, I am writing this off my phone now, (its a sunday and im out), I will reply you in detail on your questions within the next five hours. Cant really read the screenshot on phone screen. 1++ impressions and get rm3?
wow.. my blog have 4++ impressions and just earned 0.025 from that..
Advertlets itself have had it's mail servers banned from sending mail to due to them not installing SPF. That alone cost them good publishers whom regarded Nuffnang and Advertlets less than peanuts when they got about EPC of $70 on proper targetting.

That would take me like 18, 19times the impressions to get that amount... =S
Btw, please enlarge your eye-straining, microscopic screenshots, unless they are not meant to be read..
I have like 1000 imprssions, but still i earn about RMo.o6.. I thought its common, until I read your blog.. hmm... Advertlets.. help???

demit, mine was more than 1++ impressions but earn 0.006 each day.
i miss the first tyme im using advertlets even there's not much visitor but still earn something like 30cent each day.

I am having a record of 1858 impressions without click.
On this day I am earning RM0.232
My highest clicks per day earned is 4 and the amount is RM0.871
From what I can see over here, the way advertlets doing their advertising programs is more like Google adsense whereas Nuffnang is slightly different from this 2.
In short, no matter what advertisement you placed in your blog, the more unique visitors you have the more you earn. Most important thing is never click on your own adds or you can get banned for life!
This is just what I observe. Correct me if I am wrong.

To all: Just a quick note to all...Not all impressions are equal, meaning that traffic is not the only factor - it also depends on what country the visitors come from, which ad is being shown, and your blog demographic. And of course, it also depends what ads are available at a given time.
Ads are either automatically matched to the blog which would be likely to perform, or manually selected. However, if you ever feel you would be a good fit for a campaign, let us know.
Just to clarify the earning process, unlike another blog advertising service you may know, we do not ONLY run on a campaign basis. Bloggers can earn through several ways, including:
Default (CPC) - you are automatically matched with cost per click ads that match your blog by default)
Campaign(CPM) - you are matched with a campaign based on advertisers choice or qualification (eg female, 18-25).
Network (CPM) - you are matched with campaigns that run network wide, but only for certain visitors from certain countries)

For your information : My blog which on the link up there easily get the impression of 8,000 daily with unique visitors more than a thousand solely came from Malaysia.
I can prove the stats if you requested too.
My earning has been a whopping up to RM1,000 and he still refuse to pay.

I heard other bloggers are facing the same mistakes like me, do you know ahpek? Advertlets owed him more than a thousand.

I am a neutral observer in this so-called war. It is a very competitive industry and from what i observe, WHY the ENDLESS BASHING of the competitor?

On a basis from xbrain's screenshot : 6k impression to get .238 .. I'm not sure if The Other Company's ONLY campaign basis would produce a lower decimal than that..
