I could still remember the day I first created this blog. It was when "Blogging is the new black" and almost everyone you knew had a blog. Whether or not they updated anything or just made one empty page to say "Yeah, I do have a blog", everyone had a URL of their own.
As far as my memory goes, I don't think I've ever blogged about why my blog's address is thissucksmonkeyass. Probably it was because everything at that time seemed to not go my way and it was almost impossible to get an available username on Blogger. Can you imagine filling the subscription page over and over again?
The first year of my blogging life consists on posts that makes you want to shrivel up and die. Seriously, what was I thinking? Who the hell gives a damn about what time I woke up and what I did for that day? But then again, in 5 years, I may look back on this particular post and thinking "Who the hell cares about what I cared 10 years ago?".But then the blogging life certainly did become better. I met people that were great to hang out with, I went for events that almost made me die in a stampede, I got paid to do something I really like and I could say whatever the hell I want as long as the ISA thinks that its alright.
But things do get a little dull after a while. So at one point, blogging for money was the only motivation I had, as sad as it sounds. Then I got a job that paid better than blogging did, so that explains the hiatus.Maybe I should have stopped when things were at its peak. Just like how Michael Schumacher should have just left the F1 pitch when he was at the top. But no, the old man just wouldn't sit at home and count his cash.
I've been blogging for 6 years. 6 years ago I actually thought about how and when this day would come. When you're so tired of blogging everyday and speaking about different things. And the most tiring part would be, what could be new, interesting and people would give a damn about day after day?Last month, I decided that I would stop blogging when I could cash out my last payment from Nuffnang. Today, I found out that I could cash out the last payment.
